WHAT PAST STAFF SAY ABOUT BEING A SUMMER STAFF
"Working at Sunstream really helped me to grow my work ethic and my relationship with Christ. I learned that there’s nothing worth doing unless it’s done right but also experienced grace when I made mistakes. I’ve created friendships that have lasted many years because of my time at Sunstream and I never felt like what I did was pointless. Everything we did was for a purpose. I’m so thankful for the time I spent there and oftentimes wish I could come back and do it again."
"Being a summer staff at Sunstream is an amazing job! All of the staff become family. The many different things that you get to experience and help kids learn more about God while still working is amazing. I love working at Sunstream! You will always have a second family and you will always have fun! Even when it’s a hard day at work, all of the staff just know how to put a smile on your face!
"Working at Sunstream as a member of summer staff will be one of the best choices you could make, regardless of age. It builds character, faith, and commitment. On the long, hot days when you're sweaty out at ziplines or you are asked to take out the trash, you don't regret it. Seeing the smiles on the kids faces, the thank you's we get from the leaders, and the appreciation our bosses show us absolutely makes the tiring work worth it. Your coworkers are kind, hard working, and happy to lend a hand. All these attributes provide you with an excellent camp experience as a staff member. Don't be afraid to try camp, it's such an amazing job!"
"I would say it was the best job of ever had! Being able to build friendships that are going to last a lifetime while meeting new people from different camps that will remember you is surreal and well worth it. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff treat each other like family and the memories made are ones that I will never forget!"
